Check in!

Hey friends!

How is it going? Did the Workspace put Life Planning at the front of your mind?

I would love you hear your thoughts this week.

Let’s start with baby steps:

Have you thought of 3 other people who can be listed on your Emergency Plan?

  • Someone who could be called by your Loved One’s paid support if you went into the hospital…
  • Someone who could come to the hospital if you and your Loved One had an accident together and you couldn’t make decisions for them.

Think outside the box – this doesn’t have to be a relative or a best friend.

A former teacher, attendant, or Paraeducator might know your Loved One really well. A Sunday school teacher or neighbor might be a comfortable person to help keep them calm in an emergency.

Don’t stress about this choice – you can update the Emergency Plan tomorrow if you think of someone new!

How does making this plan make you FEEL?

Hit reply (or comment below) to let us know how you are doing.

P.S. I added the Task Lists for the Life Plan and Death Plan to the Resource area.
